Rock 'n' roll in South Street - 1950's America comes to Glasgow
With the backing of Formica, Cubix were recently able to put their design skills to the test in a custom made 50's diner style canteen, harking back to the days of Buddy Holly and Elvis. The revamping of the group headquarters staff canteen has resulted in a unique concept and has been well received by visitors and staff alike.
The custom made booths and table tops highlight the versatility of Formica and their use has given rise to much interest from the local design community.
The project was the brainchild of Chief Executive, Stewart Wallace, who commented "Significant growth in the business over the past year put pressure on the existing facilities and with the support of Formica, we have installed a unique facility for our staff, the only missing feature being a juke box!"
